Born on the outer fringes of East London, I discovered photography back in the late 70’s and ever since I saw my first image magically appearing in a tray of photographic chemicals, I have been hooked.

Originally self-taught and learning from my peers I attained my Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (A.R.P.S), in October 1993. In 2021 I graduated from Lincoln College with a first class BA Hons in Lens based media.

Since the late 70’s I have been combining my love of live music with my photography, photographing bands at venues across this country and abroad. I was the house photographer for the Hammersmith Odeon 90-91, and after a 20 year hiatus I am pleased to be back doing band photography. In the 90s I was doing a lot of press photo calls in and around London, something that I am also getting back into.

In 2007 I made the decision to move from my comfort zone of the industrial wasteland of the north bank of the Thames to the Lincolnshire Wolds and have rekindled my love of Landscape Photography.

Working in both digital and with traditional light sensitive materials (I so hate the expression analogue photography) using a variety of cameras from 35mm to 5 x 4 film and modern digital equipment.
